It is important to remember that on many purchase contracts in Queensland the property becomes the risk of the buyer within 24 hours from the time that the contract is signed.
This is something that many buyers do not realise and a failure to ensure that you have adequate insurance over the property to cover you can lead to disaster and heart break.
